Through continuous testing, Flashforge engineers are developing an ever growing set of engineering materials and optimised preset configuratuons to use with the Creator 3.
3RD PARTY MATERIALS
The Creator 3 is completely open and capable of printing 3rd party materials. The Intelegent FlashPrint Slicing software allows you to make custm preset printing profiles.
Filament Run Out Detection
The Creator 3 detects when filament is running low. It will automatically pause, allowing you to replace a filament spool and continue the with the build.
Resume On Power Outage
In the event of a power failure during the print process, an internal energy storage will move the print head to the side to protect it from damage. Once power is resumed the printer shall prompt you to resume where it left off.
The rigid built platform of the Creator 3 now includes a magnetised base which secures the removable print surface.
The print surface is constructed out of spring steel plate.
Completed models can be easily removed without tools by flexing the plate.
The Creator 3 achieves clean precise multi-material parts with minimal cross contamination with IDEX technology.

The Creator 3 uses induction sensors to measure and calibrate the height of the extruders to the print surface.
Before a print starts, induction sensors probe the printing surface to correctly calibrate of the bed surface, ensuring good bed adhesion and reliable printing.
When printing in duplicate or mirror mode, the Creator 3 ensures that both models print to identical heights. This is achieved by printing a sacrificial layer under the lower nozzle model.
A full colour LCD touch screen guides you through the printer set up and configuration.
The Creator 3 offers multiple ways to interact and control your printer.
Send files via USB directly, or choose to send files through your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
You can event send files and monitor prints from offsite through a cloud based interface from any web enabled smart device.
